Van Oord, an Offshore Contractor, needs their employees to be aware of the different safety hazards on site. But to get all their employees to their offshore platform becomes quite costly. Therefore we created a virtual reality safety training.
Before me and my colleague were allowed on this shoot we had to follow a three-day BOSIET training (including the CA-EBS deployment training, OLF supplement and the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training with EBS) and do a medical check.
