For Mandy Smith (@papersmith_studio) we helped bring her idea for a Virtual Reality installation come to life. She creates amazing sculptures and narratives using paper and for this art piece she built these huge minimalistic shapes.
We filmed a total of 8 different (groups of) shapes while they were being burned down in stereo. These we put together later in post to create a 360 scene where the shapes would rise from the ashes.
Since there was only one chance to capture this I put together a rig that had multiple cameras running.
